Founded in 2003, Waste Dynamics has completed over 120 commissions on projects ranging in size from simple risk assessments for purchasers of properties or businesses through to sustainability assessments and development of comprehensive environmental and waste management systems for public bodies and major UK companies.

Waste Dynamics' Managing Director, Steve Simmons, has over 30 years experience in research, consultancy, industrial and public sector management and University lecturing.

Steve has held senior management positions in the UK Chemical sector as Group Environment Manager with Laporte Group and in the public sector as Head of Waste Management at Powys County Council. He is currently Managing Director of Waste Dynamics Limited and works as a specialist adviser for several UK consultancies and waste companies.  Steve is also heavily involved in training and research.

Wendy Lewis

Wendy is an associate consultant with over 29 years experience in environmental management consultancy.  Her early career was in the field of trade effluent treatment design & monitoring. However, she soon became involved in the emerging market for environmental professionals, working on contaminated land sites, firstly in a technical role but progressing to project management of both site investigation and remediation. She has also worked in the field of water and waste management. Her experience in environmental management issues, and in particular, compliance driven issues, led to her contributing to due diligence teams involved in major company acquisitions.
