Environmental management
BS EN ISO 14001:2004 environmental management standards exist to help organisations
- minimise how their operations (processes, etc.) may adversely affect the environment (i.e. cause harmful changes to resources, air, water, or land);
- comply with relevant laws, regulations, and other environmental requirements, and
- continually improve in the above areas.
Waste Dynamics can assist organisations in planning and developing their environmental management systems . Planning may involve an appreciation of environmental risk. Such risk (Aspects) can be identified through a variety of formal and informal methods, such as risk screening, impacts matrices, overlay mapping etc. Identification of regulatory requirements is also important as a precursor to establishing an management programme. Waste Dynamics have assisted many organisations to develop their environmental legislation registers and to translate legal requirements into defined corporate standards and systems of work.
